Privacy Policy
Last updated August 2026.
This policy describes Valyo's actual current data practices in plain language. It has not yet been through formal legal review and should not be treated as a final legal document — it will be updated as that review happens and as the product evolves.
What we collect
For Realtors and brokerage team members with a Valyo account: name, email, license number (if provided), and branding assets you choose to upload. For a Realtor's own clients, entered by that Realtor: name, email, and phone, used only to help the Realtor track who a CMA or report is for. For a property under analysis: its address and characteristics, and the comparable properties used to analyze it. If you contact us through the site: your name, email, and message.
What we don't do
We don't sell personal data. We don't enrich or infer additional personal information about a homeowner or client beyond what a Realtor enters. AI features (the Analyst summary and Copilot) operate strictly on the data already in a given CMA — they are not used to build a profile of any individual.
How data is protected
Every organization's data is isolated from every other organization's at the database-query level. Access within an organization is role-based. See our Security & Privacy overview for the full list of implemented controls.
Data retention and deletion
Valyo does not currently offer a fully self-serve data export or deletion flow, and specific retention periods have not been finalized. If you'd like your organization's data reviewed, exported, or deleted, contact us directly and we'll handle it manually.
Jurisdiction
Valyo currently serves Realtors in British Columbia, Canada and Texas, U.S. — a jurisdiction-specific privacy-law review (including PIPEDA, given our BC service area) has not yet been completed. This is a known, tracked gap, not an oversight, and this page will be updated once that review is done.
